Composition Of Enroxil

Enroxil® 5% injection solution comprises enrofloxacin at a concentration of 50 mg per milliliter. Along with auxiliary components including butanol, potassium hydroxide, and water for injection.

Indications

Enroxil® 5% injection solution is indicated for use in agricultural animals and dogs to address a variety of conditions. Including respiratory issues, gastrointestinal disorders, genitourinary infections, colibacillosis, septicemia, salmonellosis, atrophic rhinitis, streptococcosis, bacterial and enzootic pneumonia, MMA syndrome, as well as other pathogens that are susceptible to enrofloxacin.

Dosage and method of administration

Enroxil® 5% injection is indicated for use in calves, sheep, and goats via subcutaneous administration. While piglets, pigs, and sows receive it intramuscularly. The recommended dosage is 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight, administered once daily for a duration of three to five days. Which equates to 2.5 mg of enrofloxacin per kilogram of the animal’s weight. For cases of salmonellosis and respiratory infections. The Enroxil® 5% injection is to be given once daily for five days at a higher dosage of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight. For dogs, Enroxil® 5% injection is administered subcutaneously at a dosage of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight (5 mg of enrofloxacin per kg) once daily for five days. To minimize discomfort, it is recommended that no more than 5 ml of the 5% solution be injected at a single site for large animals, and no more than 2.5 ml for smaller animals.

Contraindications
